I'd highly recommend this program. The program was tailored towards what my employer's business needs were, and it was helpful to get a higher level of education that aligned so perfectly with my job. The quality of the professors was very high. I enjoyed the lectures, hands on examples, and the direct application of the content to solving my employer's pressing challenges.

I was accepted into the Certificate Program, but I was told by their own staff and professors that I will likely not be accepted for a Graduate Program. I have a GPA of 4.0, but professors still say that they don't know me well enough to give me recommendations for the Graduate Program. One professor even said, "hey, I'm not even sure I would be accepted if I applied!" I feel unsupported, and demotivated thanks to lack of cooperation from professors who are fine with giving me A's for my hard work... Read More

Overall, WPI is an OK school. If you want to go here for IMGD, you are better off burning all of your money than going here as that would save you 4 years. This program is a mess. The classes don't teach what they need to, there aren't enough resources for the small number of students they have, and most of the professors act like children who have been given too much power. On multiple occasions I have heard professors s**t talking students to other students and bully students with mental disabilities.... Read More

It's important to get a degree in demand or the debt incurred will not be worth it.

I liked that their corporate and professional education office sent professors to my company's campus.

WPI is an incredible school. The project-based learning prepares you for application of your degree. The professors are dedicated and highly educated & experienced.

I cannot speak more highly of the education I received at WPI. The application of the education I received is still applicable today. As I write this review, I am currently unemployed after having left a company. Since leaving the company, I have received 1 job offer and have had 2 interviews within 2 weeks! I am not sure how I would have fared having gone to another school in the country. WPI students are desirable in today's job market! I would enroll all over again if I was a promising high school... The school's education is very high quality but is going down hill because of the limited amount of faculty in the department. The school needs to spend more to get more professors to teach, or students will not revive enough individual attention. The lab courses do not have the resources to accommodate the number of students who want to take them.

WPI is one of the best investments you can make! The tuition may be expensive, but nearly all WPI graduates obtain jobs right after commencement and/or place in top graduate school programs. You'll have those loans paid back fairly quickly and engineering is a profession of high-demand.

The professors and faculty that I have encountered so far have been very helpful and supportive. So far, the workload is as I expected from a Master's degree program. I am looking forward to continuing my graduate level experience with WPI. From what I have experienced at this point in my degree, their reputation for delivering a quality education is preceding them.

It is great that his program allows student to immediately work on research and projects even before they're done with the required courses. However, this program is designed to students who got their undergraduate degree at WPI not taking into account students coming from other undergraduate schools with different background and preparation.

The graduate program is very challenging and intense. However there is a superb relationship between the professors and student. I would say the biggest pro is the advanced education level, where students get to learn theoretical and also get hands on experience in labs. Biggest con is that Graduate students don't get ny financial support and classes are very expensive.

Pros are the technical excellence at the university. It's proximity to Boston and the technical community is amazingly valuable. Cons are the distance I had to travel at night time from New Hampshire. It's a long distance to commute from other locations to attend WPI. Never took courses from the online web services.

WPI has a long-standing reputation as one of the Northeast's premier engineering schools. While their MBA program is relatively new, it's received decent ratings in annual program rankings. With that said, I feel the program is quite strong. The professors have strong backgrounds both in past MBA programs and in impressive business positions (CEOs, entrepreneurs, etc). They're all very engaged, excited to be at WPI, and almost always available to reach out to. The curriculum is intense but well-rounded,... Read More

I have felt extremely challenged by WPI's grad program. I have completed the MBA and a few classes in the Physics PhD Program, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I will have completed 2 bachelors, my MBA, and PhD when all is said and done here at WPI. I decided to continue my education here because of the world-wide connections this university holds in the world of biotechnology and bio-engineering. My goals lie in Medical Physics, and there is probably no other networking university... Read More

The highest quality education to be had as an engineer, but taking online classes does limit the exposure and applicability of some of the support the campus has to offer.
