Wright State was a great school for me because it was close to home. I had several opportunities to earn academic scholarships, the classes were rigours but I do believe they fully prepared me to be a competent nurse. I made great friends and always felt safe on campus.

I found Arizona State University to be an exceptional college to attend. They have multiple locations which is nice because I went to the West Campus in Glendale because it was much smaller than the main campus at Tempe. The instructors were very well-rounded in their field and most were able to use online platforms to create an optimal learning environment. The location of either campus is also great if you enjoy warm weather and the outdoors as there are many mountain ranges within driving distance... Read More

Great school. The MIS program was fantastic. You get to learn from people who had real world experience. Another perk was getting to learn in small class sizes. I learned a ton in this program, and would not change it to go to any other university. I would recommend it to anyone in the Ohio area that is looking to get into the IT field.

If you can endure a guideless hell for two to four years while pursing your MSW, the only thing Wright State does is provide the accredited piece of paper that opens career doors. The social work program is a disaster: professors quit in the middle of the semester, there is no academic guidance of any sort, and if you are working full-time, despite their claims, you cannot finish this program. There is no coordination between professors because none of them like each other. It's a toxic environment... Read More

You should be very careful when choosing an advisor for your graduate program at this university, and specially if you are an international student. Some advisors keep you hostage for years to do free labor for them and they provide you almost nothing, no equipment to make progress with your research. I am still confused why no one did anything about the lack of facilities in there. Where did the grants really go.

I enjoyed my overall experience at Wright State. The campus is of moderate size, has a great library system, and has an ever growing diverse student population. I found that the number of students per class within ones major was usually small to average size which provided adequate space for critical dialogue and analysis. I had very good instructors, both on the general education level and degree seeking level. Many of them were professionals outside of academia and several had written their own... Read More

I graduated from Wright State's Information Systems program and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. The program did not prepare me to do anything in the business analytics world and was worthless, but cost far too much for what it was. Total waste of time and money and I wish I hadn't done it.

A horrendous program, transferring out after wasting 2 years of my life with egocentric professors and unprofessional administration. I would not recommend this school, and specific program, to my worst enemy. All the professors care about is publishing their own work and advancing their career, there is no focus on the students like there should be in a doctoral program.

I feel like I have a good job in spite of going to Wright State, and not because of it. I got my undergrad here and am currently doing my masters however this is solely because of the low cost of the school. There is a massive budget crisis which profs bring up during class. I feel like a lot of the professors in the business school are seriously lacking in how to treat students professionally. Sometimes it feels like they are trying to show superiority over the students which I find strange. I've... Read More

Horrible school. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Professors are disgusting and only care about money or what kind of "favors" you can do for them. The administration will shy away from this but everyone on the inside knows the type of sexual assault culture in this place. Check other reviews on Google to verify. They don't care about the individual students which is a shame because in a doctoral program, the success of the student reflects highly on the success of the school. I didn't land... Read More

I loved Wright State University. The school (buildings, setting, etc) is beautiful. Most of the teachers are excellent and very helpful. The tunnel system is fun and helpful. Everything is close together, easily walkable. The dorms are really nice as well. The biggest drawback I had while there was parking, but this was primarily for my undergrad degree. The Master's degree classes were mostly in the evenings, so parking wasn't as bad then. It is also close to Dayton, Ohio so you have lots of shopping,... Read More

I think the accounting and finance programs at Wright State rival many more expensive schools in the area. They help prepare you for the exams an accreditations you will need but also prepare you for working in the industry.

Wright State University is a unique institution in Dayton, Ohio that gave me the tools to change the world. My major, Social Science Education, was a unique interdisciplinary program that touched on nearly every facet of the liberal arts. I was encouraged throughout my entire journey to participate in leadership roles and I eventually became the Student Body President of the institution. After receiving my degree I was admitted the the Harvard Graduate School of Education to pursue a M.Ed in Higher... Read More

Wright State is a great and affordable institution. I specifically chose to earn my MBA here because of the flexibility of the program that offers. The MBA can be completed totally online if you want to but I plan to take all the foundation courses online and they attend in person classes when I get into the core courses. I think this will really help with networking with others in the program, which from MBA alum I have heard is the best thing about an MBA program.

I have never had a bad experience in my college career. I chose Wright State for graduate school because it's a well known school with a reputable standing in academics. It's passing rates are extremely high and all the instructors are helpful and approachable. I have never felt more supported in an online school knowing I have all the resources I need at my fingertips. This scholarship is something that would help me out tremendously with the cost. Wright State campus life was excellent and getting to classes were very manageable. The teachers were very diverse and felt that they represented the students equally. Few teachers were not able to help students outside of class hours but overall, most could. Living on campus was easier to attend school because parking is an issue even if you have a parking pass. Great school and community. Professors are very helpful. They provide top notch education. However, I picked a field with poor career potential for the Dayton area. Not the fault of the school. They provided everything I needed to succeed at school. The Dayton area just needs more science jobs.

I love Wright State's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. The professors and program heads are friendly and helping, they genuinely care about your success and help you in anyway they can. All the classes are informative and engaging, and there is no limit to what kinds of classes you can take outside of your program. One thing the school is still currently working on is getting more certifications that can be added to your degree.

Wright State University is a great place for people of all ages to get their degree. It is truly a place where each student feels comfortable and at home. Like most schools there are a lot of negatives about attending Wright State. For example, if you are looking for a place to really meet people, gain a social life, and feel that school spirit, then WSU is not the place for you.
