Worst experience of my life 1/10 they are making me pay for the spring semester room and bored when I didn鈥檛 even attend college during spring ( they said I didn鈥檛 check out properly but no one was in the building ) I then got a call in February saying I needed to come so they can check the room so I drove all the way from Sweetwater I called the number they called me on to make that appointment and I even knocked on the door multiple times loud and no one answered (they said an RA is is on call... Read More 24/7 but why didn鈥檛 they hear the loud knocking ?) so now I have to pay 1300 to get my transcript. ASU really messed my life up and is holding me back from opportunities. They say their students are the number 1 priority but end up doing this to me ? 鈥淵our a person not just a number in our school鈥� turns out that was a big fat lie, they don鈥檛 care about the students they are just making sure they get payed :)

Since many students from surrounding small communities are enrolled, it has a small-town feeling with all the amenities and quality one would expect from a four-year university. Overall, I am extremely please with the quality of education I received at ASU, and I also thoroughly enjoyed life on-campus. I would highly recommend this university to anyone who inquired. I'll speak for this program. The professors are great, except for the guy who taught Research Methods in 2017. I reached out to all my colleagues, and they didn't get the professor's direction either. He should have provided examples of what he was looking for. Otherwise, all the other professors are great. Dr. T. is most helpful in guiding you through to the end. Dr. B. is tough, but he will prep you well for good research and preparing your bibliography. These guys were my favorite. It's regionally accredited, and you'll be working with top-notch professors who help you go forward in research and employment. You can't put that kind of trust anywhere else. I've even reached out to other universities that offer Security Studies, and they see ASU as a great program too. Definitely worth it if you're a local Intel student too. 14N military training can cover 12 credits out of the 36 you'll need to graduate. No GRE required if you meet a certain GPA requirement. 3.0, I think. Also, you can do a thesis or non-thesis option. If you plan on doing the thesis, get with Dr. T., and start early! Either option is fine. I've applied to two PhD programs now, and neither one have asked for a thesis, so if you want to go further in your education, you won't be seen as a lesser candidate for not having a thesis as a writing sample.

My University and professors provided me with the proper tools to succeed. Professors went out of their way to provide support and educational assistance at a one-on-one level while still being professional. The advisors and admissions staff have been incredibly helpful in the process of applying to graduate school and registering for classes.
