Broward College Nursing program has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating educational programs I have encountered. The nursing program at Broward College is highly disorganized, with poor communication and unclear structure. Students often feel confused about expectations, grading, and course requirements. Many students have raised concerns about teaching quality and administrative responsiveness, but real changes seem rare. There is a perception that student feedback is ignored. Instead of feeling supported, students often feel overlooked and undervalued. I strongly advise students to transfer to a different nursing program. Broward College is not worth it.

Please whatever you do, don鈥檛 come to this school. BC has a lot of issues that I don鈥檛 see them resolving anytime soon. The entire nursing program is disorganized. You鈥檒l get your clinical placement the day before it starts, professors will switch the topics on the exam the last minute, and the dean will change all the policies the semester before you graduate! The NCLEX pass rates get lower every year. This is because they don鈥檛 have adequate professors or clinical instructors who are passionate about teaching, they just want a paycheck. Trust me, there鈥檚 better nursing programs you can attend! Even though I graduated and didn鈥檛 have to retrack, my experience was horrible and I felt like they didn鈥檛 teach what I needed to know for the NCLEX. Attend at your own risk.

I attended this school in South campus many years ago and did have a great experience. I read one review this page that BC does have a high pass rate; that is very true for many years. My class was 50 students and 11 of us in the original group graduated together and we all passed our NCLEX-RN exam. This school is tough program that prepares you for real life nursing. I read my chapters in my books, followed the power points given and practiced my own knowledge in the Sanders NCLEX-RN book before my exams. After the 1st class, 25 students were left. They only give you one retake or else go to LNP school and come back to RN school. I personally did not want that to happen to me. I worked on my studies, spent time practicing my skills at the lab. The instructors can be demanding with high expectations. You had a mix of professors who are extremely kind and those who picked on a student for unknown reason. However, the foundation I received in this education has made me a safe Registered Nurse. I would recommend this school to a person who is determined and not afraid of hard work, not afraid of spending time in their studies, get to school on time and ready for learning/feedback.

If you can choose a different school, do so. Out of 70 incoming students, only 4 graduated that semester. And that鈥檚 only South Campus. They have a high NCLEX pass rate because the actual pass rate is so low. If you鈥檝e been accepted then attend another campus. They are unfair and create EXCESSIVE amounts of stress on students. We took a lunch break and agreed on a time so I went to my car and came back 鈥�30 min late.鈥� I was sent to the Dean鈥檚 office even though the other students stood up for me....
