The program admission process was highly involved and competitive. There was a face-to-face interview along with providing recommendations. The program is structured well on paper. They have all the appropriate programs and amount of clinical hours. Where this University falls short are their professors. Most of the classes are online. So far one has been hybrid. It was a waste of time. One of the professors, although nice, does not challenge the students and there appears to be a knowledge deficit in the programs they teach. Another of the professors does not know how to work the online platform, which effectively decreases student chances of success. This is a program that I will stick with as I believe they are going to provide me with the education I deserve, but there are some changes that need to be made in the Professors.

I recently graduated from Florida Atlantic Universities Accelerated BSN program with the honor of Summa Cum Laude and now I am a student of the BSN-DNP program. I am continuing my education to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a caring and committed Family Nurse Practitioner. Florida Atlantic University has been a great experience so far! I started my graduate program May 2016 and the guidance and instructors have been beyond amazing and helpful. Class sizes are small but encourages strong particpation with great feedback. Instructors respond quickly and provide thorough instruction with every assignment.
