Stay away from Liberty University in general, especially the Aviation department. Online instruction is very low quality, communication with student advising is poor, and there is no academic support from the aviation department for students striving to achieve R-ATP or other important aviation milestones. Read More money and they provide little in return. Actual flight training is done through affiliates at rates that generate a profit for the affiliate and a Liberty. It is far less expensive to go direct through the affiliate. If you're chasing R-ATP, there are several other schools with far better reputations out there. Liberty has lost GI Bill funding - which speaks volumes about how bad Liberty is - if you're a vet looking for an education using the GI Bill or other VA benefits, look elsewhere.

Save your money and time!!! Find another institution that won't waste your time and that will actually work with you. They are full of smiles and lies. I have nothing but bad experiences here and this is coming from a person that has taken classes and received nothing but A's. They give you the run around and have many excuses. I've talked to and been purposefully mislead by their over the phone academic advisors. Please realize that this "institution" is nothing more then a joke that they only cares...
