Thus far, my experience at NYU has been a positive one. As a new student to the Masters program at Steinhardt, my program director/s and advisor have found creative ways to allow me to attend the university with unique circumstances. My advisor has helped me develop a course schedule fit for my needs and goals. I met wonderful people getting my MBA at New York University. The program is strong at matching in consulting, investment banking and marketing roles in traditional industries. Less traditional jobs or jobs in less traditional industries have less support.

The New York University Stern School of Business is an excellent choice for students wishing to be in contact with Manhattan, and all it has to offer, while pursuing a world class education. For many years, Stern has consistently ranked in the top 10-15 schools for an MBA in the United States. They offer a rare part-time MBA for students like myself who are determined to work full-time while they are in school. Stern offers fantastic opportunities for networking and career building.

Although I think that an NYU education might not be the best value for most majors, I think that it is worth the huge financial investment for areas like business because of the alumni network and the name recognition. The faculty is excellent and I highly respect the dean of the business school.

I loved going to NYU. My professors provided great real world lessons and examples which I still use today. I enjoyed the class format which was case based and allowed for different points of view.

New York University - Stern Business School was an incredible experience which provided me with the well-rounded business education I was looking for. You will be challenged by your talented peers and professors in a collegial environment that stresses team work and group work. Stern's location in NYC really does provide a wealth of opportunity to connect with industries of all types. Tapping into the vast world of NYU also provides endless opportunities to explore. The professors vary. Some are amazing, some just ok. The students a friendly and tend to be progressive and caring about the world. It is a good place to go!

NYU's network is very strong, particularly if you're looking to stay in NYC. I'm very glad I did the part-time program and took advantage of my employer's tuition reimbursement policy. Business school would have been prohibitively expensive otherwise.

Many graduate programs are unnecessary. Students should really research degree programs to ensure its a correct fit prior to making such a huge financial commitment.

Overall the MS in HRMD program at NYU is excellent. Students are taught by adjunct professors who have high level positions in their industry, thus present a real life, current view of HR. The material taught is practical, engaging, and up to date. The student population is diverse, with a balance of international and domestic grads.
