When I entered my master’s program, I knew that I had to take a trip to Athens, Ohio for a weekend as part of the curriculum. I was taken by surprise at how old and beautiful the campus is. It was clean and attractive, seemingly built on an endless supply of small hills. The buildings were all brick and the sidewalks were tree lined. Ohio University was a great experience academically, socially, and with life experiences. I learned a lot about growing up, made a lot of great friends, and obtained a great education.

It has a beautiful campus set in the Hocking Hills. Smaller class sizes when you get to your core classes. A small town feel with a big city education. Walk from one side of the campus to the other in 20 minutes. Lots of groups and social opportunities.

The pros of the Masters in Coaching Education offered by Ohio University: the program's courses are all specific to athletic coaching, students can maintain a job while enrolled, students can do school work when it fits into their schedule, the courses offer a comprehensive coaching education, students are connected with many other athletic coaches via the program.
