I started my college career at a community college before transferring to Rutgers to get my bachelors. This was right during the height of COVID and the college did a really good job of making the switch to hybrid/fully online lessons. I was a full time student and full time employee but was able to make Dean's list every semester and graduated with honors. Most professors were extremely flexible with me and the scheduling was not as bad as I expected. My only and biggest critic is of the campus... Read More

I think Rutgers University Camden offered me a great education at a great price. The biggest thing I look back on is that I was able to graduate with a masters degree with minimal student loan debt because the tuition is more affordable and because I had a scholarship for academic achievement.

Professors great, but for those commuters out there: the bus system isn't even bad, it's disrespectful. There's an app that changes every 2 minutes and 5 minutes means 15 a lot of the time. If you're fine waiting in the cold or have money to spare might as well just park on the streets of camden.

Rowan Universitys graduate music composition department offers an immense amount of interaction between students and faculty. Students have the privilege of working one on one with professors who are currently on the cutting edge of research and performance. Rowans music department offers state of the art computers and musical software, as well as an enormous recording studio. Rowan is fully equipped with its own concert hall and immerse pipe organ as well as a smaller recital hall. My university... Read More

I absolutely enjoy my courses at Rutgers University. I am so excited to be at a school that really values the arts and a liberal education. There are so many research opportunities at the institution. I really enjoy being at a larger school with a lot of networking and a big alumni association.

I am enrolled in the MFA program in Creative Writing at Rutgers-Camden and it has exceeded my reputation. The campus itself is small and urban, on the margins of Philadelphia, but it's a vibrant gem full of cultural activity with a commitment to serving its community. My studies focus on poetry writing, and I have found Camden to be a welcoming and comfortable home for that literary art. Walt Whitman is buried in Camden and a statue of him is outside the student center, and I take workshops lead... Read More

I attended and graduated law school from Rutgers University in Camden in 2010. Around the time I was a student, Rutgers-Camden started utilizing alternative metrics for purposes of accepting students. In other words, instead of using a student's LSAT score and GPA as a primary factor for determining acceptance, Rutgers would also use students' GMAT score in lieu of their LSAT. This gave opportunities to students to matriculate in law school, who may not otherwise be able to do so based on their LSAT.... Read More

The program at Rutgers is great. It is the second largest school for clinical social work in the United States. However, the coordination surrounding their program was very poor. The financial disbursements/packages and scholarship packages were not even awarded to students until after the due date for the tuition bills.

Great school. The ability to learn independently is a must. Professors are very well versed in the field of nursing. Most are doctoral students themselves. The program is very useful in molding future Nurse Practitioners. I felt like I received a great education.

Rutgers University is an amazing school. I attribute many of my successes as an educator to the education I received at this university. The professors had a wealth of knowledge and passion for the content areas they taught. Not only did they provide me with the information I needed to be a teacher, they also modeled and exhibited the character traits associated with being a highly effective educator. I continue to keep in contact with my professors and administrators in the program. They continue... Read More

Pros- High Quality Education, well educated and helpful professors, and a vast amount of probono programs available to the students. Cons- The cons arise outside of the staffs/schools control that include the lack of business in the area surrounding the school.

I have taken one masters level course so far, and the professor was great. She loved the material and wanted the students to love (and understand) the material. The downside to this program is that it does not offer summer classes.

The professors are experienced professionals and create an experiential learning environment. The study abroad component offers a great experience in hands-on international business. The program is longer than most traditional MBA programs at 54 credits and core course offerings are limited in the summer. Career services could also improve the bridge between students and potential employers.

The Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Rutgers South Program is exceptional. I would never change my decision about choosing this program. The professors spend a lot of time putting work into their classes along with they do prepare a lot of time aside to help the students which is greatly appreciated.

The program itself is marvelous and wonderful, the campus kept surprisingly safe for the area, and the faculty is warm and challenging. The cost can be prohibitive if you aren't one of those lucky enough to snag an TA or GA position.

My graduate program needs more Black and Hispanic males. In addition, I am completing the requirements for certificate in Violence Against Women and Children. Both the name and curriculum are not inclusive of the violence experience by men and by people who identify themselves as being LGBTQ. In contrast, this program has a impeccable reputation for producing social movement leaders. In addition, there are high-caliber researchers and practitioners who serves as impromptu mentors.
