I am posting this for any other reason than to let my fellow colleagues know the truth. I have a few more classes left before I get my MBA and you cannot find ONE Marketing class on ground. Professors are scarce and people are loosing hope in you Saint Leo University. I am a federal government worker and mother. I told everyone who's even thinking about going back to school please do not go to SLU (military and federal workers & young graduates who're looking for a good school). I am so upset and... I had a great experience with St Leo online learning. I was on AD when I obtained my degree and I had very understanding instructors. There was maybe one or two teachers that weren't as responsive as I would like. However; overall I enjoyed my time as a student there. I'm now enrolled for my masters program with them.

I am currently taking classes for my Master's Degree in Business and couldn't be more pleased with my choice in a school for my continued education. The school works around my schedule and helps me maintain a balance of school and work. It has always been a dream of receiving my Master's Degree and St. Leo University is allowing me to achieve that dream.

I took most of my classes online and some on campus. I can honesty say attending on campus is a lot better than endless emails, some take longer to respond. than others. My adviser stop contacting me as soon as she realized I didn't need to much assistant but, when I needed her, it was like pulling tooth to get her to call me back. I enjoyed my experience at SLU. The only downside is the financial aid department, they suck!

I just completed my first term at Saint Leo, and so far it has been a GREAT experience. Financial aid was pretty easy, and they were available anytime I had questions. My student advisor is the best. He help me register for class, being that this was my first time attending school online, he walked me through the process and checked on me throughout the term to see how I was doing. My instructors were great! I am looking forward to finishing my degree with Saint Leo. Attending school online is not... Read More

Other people tried to talk me out of going to Saint Leo because it was a private college and the cost was suppose to be higher. I was a non traditional student so I went to classes at night and the cost was comparable to the public college family had tried to encourage me to go to. I loved the small classes and the fact that we stayed together through the whole program. The professors were great and I truly feel that I got an exceptional education. I recommend Saint Leo to anyone wanting to go into... Read More

Saint Leo has a great Elementary Ed program that prepared me to become a highly effective teacher! Flexible hours, very knowledgeable instructors and great support from mentors! While doing my internships I was able to get a great introduction to lesson planning, differentiated instruction and other research-based best practices that have help shape my teaching approaches and philosophy. Their program offers a very well rounded program that helped me edify weak areas and allowed me to get ready to... Read More

Hi All - I am currently a MBA student taking classes at Chesapeake Virginia Campus. I am so ashamed to say that I am graduating from Saint Leo. This past year has been pure hell and I am warning you, DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. They offer minimal classes on-ground (and the professors that teach this one class, MBA 560, MR. CONTEH is the worst. If a class is not offered on ground, you have no other choice but to take an online class which is $500 - $600 more. People, GO TO ANOTHER UNIVERSITY. I am... Read More

St. Leo is small and private so it's expensive and the social scene isn't big, but the education program is detailed, current, and designed with REAL teachers in mind. I would find myself jealous of larger "state schools" with football teams and more shopping/ bar options, however Saint Leo University was incredible at preparing me for teaching. The professors were thoughtful, considerate, quick at grading, and provided excellent feedback. The internships were realistic, easy to navigate, and honestly... Read More

I attended a satellite campus in Lake City FL. I attended classes at night and online so I could maintain my full time employment. This college really worked around my busy schedule!

Saint Leo offers not only a competitive program but a flexible one. I managed to complete my MBA with an Accounting concentration completely online while working full-time and spending time with my husband and children. The professors are always extremely helpful and responsive, which is an important quality when operating in an online environment. If you prefer live interactions, most of the professors offered live chat sessions at least once a week to ask questions and go over homework. The tuition... Read More

For me, an MBA degree is a personal goal of mine that I have always wanted. This program allows me to create that dream at a connivence of working and going to school full-time. the only pros to this degree is the face to face interaction that I do not get to have with my professors.

I''ve been attending Saint Leo off and on for several years, had a few financial aid situations that kept me out of school for almost 2. years. However, I pressed on and was Alberto get back in school in 2012, working fulltime , wife and mother, I was only able to take 1 class a semester. Let me tell you, it was not easy, and there were one or two Professor's that were not the best, but for the majority of my time spent was awesome. I found the online courses to be more challenging and rewarding than most of the classes I did face to face in other institutions. The professors were very knowledgeable and helpful. Be forewarned, don't think you will coast through this. It is a lot of work. I flew in from Texas for the COL's graduation ceremony. I was surrounded by members of the military or their spouses who were furthering their education. The reception held afterwards by the COL was a nice touch with live music, food and fellowship... I absolutely love Saint Leo University. I have been attending since 2012 and previously earned by B.A. in Psychology through a blended format. The university has partner campuses which you can attend and online formats. The online setting is one of the best I have experienced (not Blackboard based!) and is very easy to use and understand. The courses are challenging and professors are student-oriented. I am going to graduate this summer with my M.B.A. The coursework thus far has been 100% applicable... Read More

I have taken a mixture of online and face to face courses from surrounding local community colleges. Many think that online coursework is easier, and that was true where I had attended previously, however, this is not the case at Saint Leo. Taking two classes every 8 weeks is a lot of work here, so be prepared to set aside a good amount of time each week for your class(es). I spend many hours studying and doing each assignment in between time off from working full time. The instructors are pretty... Read More
