I really enjoyed my time at SLU, the College for Public Health & Social Justice was exactly what I was looking for. I got to learn about health equity, collective impact, and community building in a city that greatly needed it.

College is a great opportunity to learn how to learn as well as study in depth a subject of interest. I have a science degree, and pairing the sciences with another area is a great way to stretch yourself.

Saint Louis University (SLU) has faculty with extensive research, teaching and field experience. It is the only accredited Catholic, Jesuit school of public health in the nation. It's College for Public Health and Social Justice is committed to social justice and the Jesuit mission. The graduate-level public health classes are taught by faculty who are internationally recognized as leaders in public health research and practice, and have diverse research interests.

SLU's MPH program so far has been very comprehensive and has made me more interested in public health. The program makes sure that you are receiving not only classroom education, but also experience out in the field. The workload is manageable if you put in enough time to it. The professors really care about their students and give constructive feedback on assignments and projects.
