I found the entire college experience really disappointing and underwhelming. Out od the two universities and three community colleges i went to, a lot of the outside campus areas looked nice from the main roads and parking lots but the buildings in the middle of the comples and many of the insides and actual classrooms were horrible. They had not been changed or modified for decades and were uncomfortable and acoustically awful for people like me with a hearing impairment

I attended the University of Texas at Arlington for my undergraduate degree, my master’s degree, and now my doctoral degree. Overall, it has been a great experience. There has been plenty of academic and financial support available for students who seek it out. The campus is very nice, and the students, professors, and staff have all been great. I would definitely recommend attending UTA!

UTA has been a great school so far, with excellent professors. Although the cost is very high for graduate level students, it has truly been a great experience. My professors are all devoted to their students and have a passion for teaching. Students also have the flexibility to complete the program online if needed.

I felt like I had several classes that were too easy and did not teach me enough or prepare me for the types of jobs I wanted. I enjoyed my time on campus and the amenities. I do wish that I had been set up better for success post grad, encouraged to pursue internships, shown different types of jobs and how to get them.

While at UTA, some of the teachers went above and beyond to help me and my fellow classmates with our language classes. This included helping us find jobs in our area of study or to offer extra conversational practice. There are also many study abroad programs through UTA that helps us learn exponential. I personally went to study abroad in Spain and when I came back, I was way above my classmates.

A very affordable school to get your degree and get out. Honestly, if you're looking for a good college experience, you won't likely get it here because I think it is mainly a commuter just like how I was. I would show up to class, maybe hit the gym, explore campus here and there, but would mostly just head home after class. Once again, classes were great and very affordable.

The campus has incredible architecture and beautiful sights. It's an urban campus so it has all the amenities that you'd want. My favorite part is most of the professors, at least related to Biology, are active researchers. If you want to learn from active researchers then UTA is the place for you! Couldn't recommend it more!

I love The University of Texas at Arlington, as it is a great University that helped me get my Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree. It has great programs, especially in the field of Education, where I earned a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics Education. I recommend the University of Texas at Arlington, as it is a great place to earn an education for a great future career.

The University of Texas at Arlington is a very welcoming place for students in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. There is a plethora of student life activities and career networking opportunities available to students. I would recommend however, that you try to live on or near campus to take full advantage of the facilities as a long commute can make you miss out on these important events.

The courses at UTA allowed me to both work full-time and advance my education in nursing. It allowed me to work at my own pace and take as many courses as I saw fit to work around my life. It is a great option for nurses who are looking to advance their career but also works with their current work schedule.

None of the advisors, specialists, leaders, and other staff replied to emails or phone calls. When I did manage to pry out answers from staff at UTA, they were very vague and unhelpful. They ignored most of my questions and comments, and mostly responded with unhelpful and confusing things. I was so disappointed in the school that I simply withdrew from it.

I graduated from UTA with my MSN FNP. My whole program was online and I only set foot on campus for graduation. This is a great school. It is sad to see so many negative comments, but do not let that deter you from pursuing your goals. I highly suggest planning to invest 15 hours of your time studying weekly for every credit hour you're taking each term. I thought the classes were fair, the instructors were accessible and helpful every time I had questions, and I learned lots of helpful information... Read More

Stay away from this school!!!! The school might be a reputable brand, but the nursing program is far from being worthy or credible. UTA has gone downhill. The NP instructors are not connected, the academic coaches are a joke, and it's so difficult to get support from anyone as an online student. The worst courses, by far, are the Assessment and Acute Care courses. The lectures are over 10 years old, references are out of date, and most lectures are instructors reading power point slides. It's literally... Read More

I do not recommend the online program to obtain your advanced practice degree in nursing. I should have listened to the reviews when picking a school but this was one of the few that provided the degree plan I wanted. Find a program with good reviews and if they assist you with finding your preceptor that's a bonus! This school is expensive, you put in all the work, and the cost does not reflect the quality of the education. They really should be held accountable for the material they are providing... Read More

Please, stay away from this program if you love yourself. I did everything I was told to do yet couldn't get into the program. The most annoying thing is that these people kept calling me about this program on a daily basis. Then I decided to go for the program, and they waitlisted me. It still does not make sense to me, like I did not sleep for days. It felt like they tricked me. How do you call me on a daily basis for your so-called online BSN, and ended up not giving it to me, after I had transferred... Read More

After going through the entire enrollment process only 46% of my associate degree credits transferred (which I have already completed and I'm currently practicing as an RN with) and only 42% of bachelor degree credits transferred. I had already completed a large number of credits toward my bachelor degree at my previous university. UTA enrollment advisors told me that I would have to submit a course syllabus in PDF format to petition for each course that was not accepted. I asked for a list of all... Read More

I read the review when I was looking for a RN-BSN school. I saw all the negative reviews but again hundreds of students were graduating in the program. I had to decide to be among the negative students or join the positives and graduate. Definitely if they made it, why not me? thats what I asked myself.I enrolled at UTA and now about to graduate with high honors. I feel proud because I never listened to negative reviews. So I am currently 1 year and a half into the program. The beginning was not bad and most classes were a joke. I feel like at this point in the program they make the classes unbearable because they know that you are too far in to back out. I am about to take the final for Family 2 and this class had been my worst nightmare. The tests are short answer, not fill in the blank short answer, but they are essays. There's a total of 10 questions with sub questions. There is no way a person can memorize all... Read More

Overwhelmed by the lack of student support. I was truly so excited to be accepted into this program, until a month into it, realizing the lack of support within staff and students. Nursing school does not have to continue to traumatize those who dream to enter the field for the right reasons.
