Degree: Social Work

After completing my bachelor's degree at UT, I decided to continue my education here for my master's and have been greatly enjoying my time as a MSSW student. I am surrounded by like-minded peers and professors and am offered an abundance of opportunities to grow my educational and professional roles.

I loved attending The University of Texas in Austin. If you don't mind very large schools, the environment is great and the professors are amazing.

The pros are definitely the quality of education and faculty. The cons revolve around the level of financial support and workload.

It has a lot of internships and reflection, which is necessary for people new to the field. If you have experience and background in psychology and social work, the classes will be a lot of review. Some adjunct professors are not as good as full time staff. They do offer lots do option so one can work and attend class.
