Great advisors and staff! Would recommend this school and program to anyone looking for a masters in nursing or a family nurse practitioner degree. I am currently still in the program but have been nothing less of impressed with response times and prefessionalism of the school as a whole thus far.

UTMB has been a wonderful choice, Although I attend school online, I have been to the campus, and it is very nice. Being a costal town there is a lot to do there. Instructors are accessable, program is affordable. I am very proud to be a student at UTMB.

The MSN program instructors are very easy to talk with about courses. They are very eager to teach and want their students to succeed. Learning is enjoyable with these instructors. The administration team at UTMB was very welcoming. Above all I value the level of professionalism that is the focus of the school.

Engaging in individual research, reconnecting with professors, and meeting new people from near and far are big advantages of the graduate program. I like to believe that any employer will recognize that, regardless of the field, a graduate degree is proof of a potential employee's ability to commit to and successfully execute a huge project that requires a ton of discipline, sound work, and real skill to complete the program. Those are all qualities anyone would want in an employee; think of my... Read More

I am honored to be a part of this institution. The staff is amazingly helpful and treat us like adults, the orientation was very well organized, faculty response is prompt, technical support is patient and very proficient. I live and work in Houston and commuting to UTMB for social and academic activities is not easy but definitely doabale. I look forwardto an exciting educational experience and hope to work for the hospital one day!

I am in graduate school after a 12 yr break and the technology advances are almost overwhelming. The school has offered so much support to help guide me through the stress of an additional learning mode. I am trying to adjust to an online program when all of my previous education was classroom. The instructors are understanding and set forth there expectations early on. My class is small enough to become personal with each other despite not seeing one another. The con would be that it is a demanding... Read More

I am in the Nurse Educator graduate program at UTMB. This school is known for providing a good education to nursing and medical students. They are very reputable and anytime, you tell someone you attend UTMB, you automatically get the "thumbs up." I have learned so much in this program and have enjoyed the learning experience. The faculty members are always available and will respond to your questions promptly via email. My only regret is that I didn't choose this school for my BSN degree :-)
