I went to Trine University to receive a Bachelor’s in Accounting. What they don’t make evident is when you do graduate. Your diploma will just state Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Companies will question if you’re an accountant. In return, all Trine has to offer you is that if you send them transcripts it will say majoring in accounting in a small corner. This has caused more anguish with jobs than you can imagine.

Started off great at Trine until I realized all the school and professors care about is money. I talked to my advisor for 2 years about getting a minor in environmental engineering. When it came time to schedule classes he sat back and watched me not add a course I needed to achieve my minor. What is the point of an advisor who doesn't advise? Based on what I was using as a reference I was on track to get my minor. He also told me I was done with all of my chat credits, come to find out with only... Read More

So I graduated from Trine in 2018 with a BS in chemical engineering with a bioprocess engineering minor. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the outcome, I was ill prepared for today's job market in the engineering field and I regret attending. Let me first explain that I graduated Trine having no experiencecoop or intership in a science or engineering fieldand the lack of experience seemed to make it harder to get a job. When I graduated, It took me about 2 months after graduating (May 5th) to get my... Read More

Trine University master's degree program was awesome. I completed my degree in 12 months in a cohort style class setting. I networked with some great people and made lifetime friendships'. I was offered employment in my field upon graduation and have been working since 2009. We had the best professors in the field and the field trips were appropriate for the rigors of the course work. I recommend my Alumni.

Not a College worth attending!! This school is overpriced and there's nothing special about it other than a small class room setting which is really not big of a deal anyway. The small class room setting is what they brag about in addition to their 99.7 career placement rate which is really a BIG LIE. You are better off going to a community college or public university in today's economy. You would save tons of money going that route. Some of the college professors in the Business Department don't... Read More

I think it is a great starting point, either to your professional career or to continuing education; however, it is not without its problems. In the United States, even public schools are a business and like all business are about money. You are paying for their service while they use you as well. If not for your peers and lifelong friendships you can and should be able to make in college, a trading school would be more beneficial than years of debt. It may not be necessary for all depending on your... Read More

One con is definitely that it is new, so some of the kinks are still being worked out. The biggest pro for me is that everyone works together and provides a great community feel

The staff was a great help in the graduate program. The professors were very professional and the lesson plan was well thought out. The rough part was adjusting to online portions of the program.

The graduate program is very expensive but on the flip side, once completed it will pay for itself.

They need to update their computers to increase speed and have more access for power to laptops in each classroom. I love the teachers and leadership team.

The good aspects of my graduate program includes the hands on learning and having professors that are currently or have worked for many years in their field teach the pertinent information. Some of the bad parts of the program is the price. The amount is not as steep as others, but because there is such little help available it makes that money increase in value.
