The staff is very lax in taking care of things. I stress out more over them not doing their job and getting my paperwork dealt with more than assignments. Several times they have almost cost me my student loan. Some of the teachers have no interaction with the class at all. You are basically on your own. Some teachers who use tests instead of essays, the answer keys are wrong and getting a teacher to correct the grade is almost impossible. You have to complain a lot to a lot of different dept before... Read More

I love being a student at Troy, the experience has been wonderful! As a single mom who also works full-time, a degree would not have been obtainable for me without an online program such as the one I'm taking here at Troy. My only complaint is that they don't offer an all online Accounting Degree. However, I understand that they can't offer everything. Overall I would recommend this school!

I feel that the pros of my graduate program are awesome because I have the freedom to do my classes from anywhere at my own leisure. The cons, is that I don't get to interact with other classmates.

Overall, Troy will provide you with the needed information and skills to exceed in your chosen career path. I was a Montgomery student and then I made the switch to a online student. I should be finished with my degree in the coming year, provided that I can pay for it. But, I have been able to put to use the knowledge that I gained in my classes.

The Troy MPA program is a great value. It is a top accredited school, with world class professors. It gave me the flexibility to take all my courses online, and still be able to work full time and take care of my family. The instructors have vast experience in the public administration field. My peers also had a wide variety of credentials and experience that added to the program composition and provided insight into different areas of public service work. I would and have recommended Troy University... Read More

I have enjoyed my time at Troy extremely well and have found that it is the perfect environment for someone who is studying as well as holding a full time job. Troy has given me the opportunity to provide myself with a very good education as well as work full time to help manage college debt as much as possible.

I love the program because I am able to take my classes from home. However, finding information that is necessary for registering and the graduate process is hard.

I was pleased with the support and kindness of the admissions staff. I had a problem with obtaining my official transcript from my undergrad school but with the assistance of the staff, I was able to get a conditional admission until the matter was solved. So far my experience has been positive in deciding to go back to school to achieve a graduate degree. I look forward to my online classes to be positive as well.

The name recognition of the University is fairly good. When you tell people you are taking classes through Troy they typically know of the university, but they usually know nothing of the school’s academic reputation. However, if you a looking for a program that will challenge you and help you create new ideas through the transfer of information with other students, this is not the program for you.

I feel that Troy university is truly a school for its students. Though it is a large university you still get the feel of a smaller college. They are great at working with financial aid and supporting our military. I can not name one time I have not been offered different opportunities in Internships, job openings and other great learning abilities in my field of study.

My graduate program has many options for internships in order to gain the experience needed to obtain gainful employment. It is very fundametally sound and the courses they have chosen for the program do apply to real life and the career I have chosen. Work load can be heavy at times but this is graduate school so that is to be expected. The only con to the program is that there isn't much information given as to financial help besides the normal loans. I wish they gave more information on scholarship... Read More
