When graduating highschool I initially started in person classes at a university close to me. However, once deciding that I would like to pursue my degree online, I decided to look into the University of Central Florida and I am very glad I made that choice. The courses were well structured and the program was easy to follow from home. There were many resources available to students as well. I would recommend online courses to friends and family.

I completed my education completely online, with no requirements to participate in on-site lectures or activities. The instructors uploaded lesson plans and video lectures, and students are responsible for completing the work by the deadline, simple. My only issue was the program being fully online but Profressors offer extra credit for on-campus activities. I stayed over 4 hours from campus, which seemed so unfair.

The Health Services Administration program at UCF was a great program. I started at UCF in Fall 2007 and changed my major a handful of times, ending on HSA. The advisers were super helpful in working with what I had already taken and figuring out which classes I still needed to take to graduate in the most time-efficient manner. I also was able to find an internship though the program so it was very helpful for that as well.

If pursuing a Health Service Administration degree highly advise to also consider a clinical background experience certification. Very difficult to work within the HSA sector unless you personally know someone. HSA degree is a bit complicated to find job security in FL however very useful for other states.
