Degree: Public Health

There are plenty of schools across the country that offer graduate degrees in public health, but very few, if any others, can say they are a tri-campus university. At the Colorado School of Public Health you have access to three campuses, which means access to the facility at all three schools, the different courses and specialties at each location, and abundant networking opportunities. The Colorado School of Public Health has there own career services program, which is helpful from the moment you... Read More

The hit or miss quality of the institution necessitates the following statement. This review is intended to look at the experience as a whole and should not be applied to any single individual but rather the school of public health on this campus as a whole. The quality of the education of the MPH program is not worth the $700+ per credit, and that's in state.

Overall a good program. I really like the small size of the Epidemiology department and the epi community in Denver.

The program is only six years old, however, I think the faculty and staff are doing an exceptional job at insuring the students receive a quality education. I think Colorado is an incredible place to practice public health as there are so many opportunities to explore different facets of public health. I know that as the school continues to develop, the quantity of resources and opportunities will grow exponentially.

I think that overall this program has a lot to offer. My biggest frustration is that the program is relatively new. I think that it has a lot of room to grow in order to become established. The faculty are great but there are not time tested systems and training programs in place. I think that for CO residents this is a wonderful deal and there is room for flexibility for working adults.
