Overall University of Minnesota is a great school with a lot of research, opportunities, and diversity. They have a strong Physical Therapy Program. Weakest point I believe is that many of the professors are not specifically trained as "teachers" and therefore do not always have the best teaching skills / passion for teaching. Understandable tho as this is a health care profession.

The University of Minnesota DPT program is challenging, fully preparing students for successful careers. Job placement rate is 100%, an excellent testimony to the program.

The DPT program at the University of Minnesota has some of the best faculty in the country, in my opinion. Their varied areas of interest and their combined experience is a priceless asset to the students in the program. The facilities are not the most up-to-date, but what it lacks in appearance it makes up for in reputation and production of successful physical therapists.

Very holistic approach to the field of physical therapy, as students are exposed to academic, clinical, and research aspects throughout the curriculum.

The University of Minnesota offers students one of the best physical therapy programs in the country. Class sizes are small which allows for optimal learning.

The DPT program incorporates, classroom, research, and clinical education into the curriculum right away. This offers students a complete and applicable understanding of the profession and the underlying theory, both current and future.

The DPT program at the U of M is very integrative and collaborative. Communication between faculty and students is open and discussion based while still being focused and relevant. Classroom material is integrated well with clinical concepts and current research. I have yet to encounter cons of the program in my first year. It can be overwhelming for some students, but such rigor is to be expected in a doctoral degree.

The graduate program is highly directed toward research. I am pleased with the faculty, class size, and overall area of the program.

Although like most people, I wish I could afford school, this is a magnificent program and highly recommended.
