The program has been great and the support it always helpful. I have transfer credits and anytime I have a question about them I receive a quick and helpful response. If you are looking for a school that truly is flexible, helpful, and cost effective this is the place.

I attended the University of Phoenix, and overall it was a positive experience for me. The flexibility of the online classes made it much easier to balance my education with work and family responsibilities. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, and the coursework was organized in a way that helped me stay on track. I appreciated the structured weekly assignments. While the pace can be intense at times, it pushed me to stay disciplined and motivated. I would recommend University of Phoenix... Read More

All in all, I feel as though the experience that I had with the college was a huge waste of time and money. Although it was online, it in no way felt like comunity. They just used to constantly slap us with uninspiring and oftentimes redundant reports.

I am overall satisfied with my education at the University of Phoenix. The classes are educational and are related to my field of study. If I have any questions, they are answered in a timely fashion by my professor. I highly recommend the University of Phoenix to anyone seeking a top-notch education.

I absolutely loved and appreciated every aspect of attending UoP from my first conversation with my academic advisor in 2016 to my most recent conversation with an advisor in 2025 post-graduation. If UoP had a masters of music therapy program (which is what i am continuing on to obtain my masters degree in) I would continue my masters degree with this institution as well. Thank you so much for the experience!

UOPX has been great from enrollment to The professors, the counselors, and financial specialist. I experienced a death two months into school and everyone was so supportive. I truly appreciate UOPX I was able to push through due to kindness. Thank you

The student support and financial support staff at The University of Phoenix are the heroes of my educational experience. I have been with Phoenix since their online platform was Axia before it switched to Blackbaud. I have watched the organization, grow, shift and pivot to meet the needs of their adult working students: students with families, students with full time or overtime jobs. UOPX has FOREVER had a student-first priority and it shows. I always felt more empowered (instead of exhausted)... Read More

Review for the University of Phoenix

From the very beginning of my journey, the University of Phoenix has been absolutely wonderful. Taylor was the very first person who helped me get started, and she made everything so easy and welcoming. Since then, every experience I’ve had—with professors, staff, and support services—has been consistently positive.

Any time I’ve called with a question or needed help, I’ve been met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. Everyone I’ve interacted with has... Read More

Thank you, University of Phoenix, for making me feel seen, supported, and capable every step of the way. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me.

Sincerely,

For the most part I have had a great experience. Some of the instructors have been challenging but that is the only negative feedback I have. However making me count my words to a certain amount is pretty annoying I said what I had to say and that was it

I began this journey in February 2024. My son passed away unexpectedly in March 2024. It has been very difficult for me, but I have received so much support from the instructors and staff members. I hit many obstacles and wanted to stop many times. I spoke with academic counselors who guided me and helped me stay on track. I feel that I have been learning alot in my classes. The pace is good because I have time to complete assignments at my own pace. Any time I have reached out to an instructor with... Read More

Everyone has been so kind, caring, and supportive. The classroom discussions and exams relate to what we're learning and we can apply it to real life situations. The counselors and the instructors have all been great and I recommend University of Phoenix.

I completed my associates and my Bachelor's Degree at this school and i really enjoyed my experience. I was able to work full time and be a parent while doing so. The school is expensive and I had a few teachers and assignments that i didn't like but I feel like i would have had that experience anywhere. Most of my instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to get support from my advisor when needed and i never had any issues with financial advisors. I have not had any issues finding... Read More

I have attended the University of Phoenix for about three years now, and I am transferring to a different college as soon as I finish the class that I am currently in because I cannot endure the stupidity any longer. The assignment descriptions are too vague and leave out critical information for the assignments. Currently I am in PSY/335 and the team assignment instructed each team member to choose an article and complete the proposal questions, then consolidate each member's contribution and choose... This University is fast-paced, finishing a class every five weeks; it is up to YOU whether or not you earn those three credits after that. How bad do you want it? They have an LOA option that I utilized a couple of times to take care of things and take a 'little break' since the courses are one after the other. I do wish there were more graduating ceremonies in the state of Texas, though. Texas is such a LARGE state, and a lot of Texas students enrolled, having a ceremony every three months would... University of Phoenix was a great option for my Bachelor's program. While online education was difficult, using their platform made it easy and possible for me to earn a degree when I would not otherwise have been able to. The user capability and ease of access allowed me to work around my busy schedule to earn a degree and change my path in life. With the degree I earned there I was able to go on and get a second degree in education to be able to teach others and use the knowledge I learned in my... Read More

My degree program was manageable for adults who are working and/or have children. In this program, one course was taken at a time for 6 weeks. The program included a lot of group interaction and projects. The book and class materials will included in the tuition so any materials needed for the classes were online. I felt that this program included a lot of self-teaching. The professors could be emailed when there were questions or difficulties, but there were not videos or webinars that would instruct... I was being pushed by my chain of command to get a degree. We desperately needed officers at the time. I will say I did not do enough research. I had not been in high school in 15 years and was looking for a program to help me consolidate the random credits I had learned from several different community schools. No one told me you have to get at least 60% of credits from your gradating school. No one had ever explained that there is a difference between semesters and quarters. I had no idea there... Just like any other institution, the University of Phoenix had its ups and downs. After attending both brick and mortar and online universities I can conclude that it is much easier in a brick and mortar classroom to get lost in the nether and avoid participation, but still, come out with an A. This is not the case with online schools such as University of Phoenix participation is required to pass. However, I got a lot more out of the class. I would have to say the work was more difficult because... Read More

I have never had any problems while at University of Phoenix. The financial aid staff was always on top of everything and my advisors were excellent with communication. I have never had one employer or gone to an interview where my school was looked down upon. If anything, employers like that you can hold down a full time job and take a full load of classes online. I would recommend Phoenix to anyone!
