I really enjoy attending online classes at the University of Phoenix because it gives me the flexibility to work, be a mom, and still further my education. The online format allows me to manage my schedule around my responsibilities while continuing to grow academically and professionally. I don’t have to choose between providing for my family and pursuing my goals. It gives me the opportunity to build a better future for myself and my child while staying present in our daily life.

The online learning format offers a high level of flexibility, which is especially valuable for working adults or those balancing multiple responsibilities. I really like all my classes and my professors.
It is not a one person journey it is a team. It feels like I am guided and supported. I get an opportunity to become a better version of myself as a student. I want to graduate earlier and use what I learned.

Great school ! However it is a for profit school. Which means the money seems to be more important then the students. We bust our butts to complete a class in 5 weeks time. Sometimes it's is hard to acquire all the lesson in that shirt if time. I think I would do it all over again,!

University of Phoenix – Student Experience Review (Feb 2022 – June 2025)
My experience as a student at the University of Phoenix from February 2022 through June 2025 was both transformative and rewarding. Over the course of my studies, I completed my Associate of Arts in Business Fundamentals and later earned my
Bachelor of Science in Business, graduating cum laude. The program’s structure, flexibility, and focus on real-world application allowed me to balance my education with a demanding professional... Read More
The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, often drawing on their own professional backgrounds to connect theory to practical scenarios. The interactive learning platform encouraged collaboration through discussions and team projects, which strengthened my communication, leadership, and analytical skills. I especially appreciated the consistent academic rigor that challenged me to think critically, manage time effectively, and apply what I learned to real workplace situations.
The University’s commitment to adult learners stood out—resources such as the writing center, tutoring, and career services were invaluable. My advisors were proactive in helping me map out each step toward graduation and in ensuring I met all academic and career goals.
Overall, the University of Phoenix provided an excellent foundation for both my career advancement and transition into the technology and cybersecurity fields. The experience enhanced my confidence as a professional, deepened my understanding of business operations, and inspired me to pursue advanced certifications and a graduate degree in Data Science.
I’m proud to be a University of Phoenix alumna and would recommend the institution to working adults seeking a flexible, accredited, and career-focused education that truly supports lifelong learning.

I have had a terrible experience leading up to starting this course. My previous experience was phenomenal. I earned an IT degree and the entire process was great from enrollment to completion. I expected the same with the school of business. That was not the case. Communication was terrible. Being passed around to multiple people that I'm sure all have access to my personal information is a terrible idea. It apparently works for the masses because I'm sure the school(s) have been doing this for... Read More

This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve had with any school. As a graduate, I find it unacceptable to be going through this situation. I would not recommend this school to anyone, and I deeply regret encouraging my cousin to enroll.

What’s most frustrating is that I called in advance to confirm whether I had any outstanding balances, and I was told there were none. Now I’m being informed that I owe money for a class from 2023—despite having graduated in 2025. This situation has left me confused and without clear answers for nearly three weeks. The lack of communication and transparency has been incredibly frustrating.
Hi Nekeisha, we hear your concerns and take them very seriously. We've escalated this up and will be reaching out to you directly. In the meantime, if you have any additional concerns, please email us at UOPXSocial@phoenix.edu. Thank you.

Love the instructors, and I like that I can do this on my own time. I work a full-time job and have kids at home, but being able to study online at my own pace has made it so much easier to go back to school. The content of the classes is full of information that I will use in my career, and the instructions are clear.
