I honestly have to say that my masters program was wonderful except for the part where I had to do my practicum, internship an and internship b. It was such an awful experience. I wish somebody would call me so I could really tell them what I went through as a student with my professor and my classmates. Nobody should have to go through what I did.

Every time they schedule my class more than 2 weeks out for whatever reason, it acts as if I have withdrawn from school. Then my loans all go into repayment and I have to spend large amounts of time trying to show I'm still in school. Something needs to change so this doesn't happen every time they don't have classes scheduled for me back to back. I'd prefer back to back but if they aren't available, that doesn't mean I am dropping out and it's a ton of work explaining all this to loan servicers... Read More

The instructors are professional and easy to reach and to talk when you need them most. The classes are easy to access. Students on the discussion board are very respectful to one a other. The staff are very friendly when you call. The tech are ready to help when you need then.

I have numerous positive experiences to share about my time at the University of the Pacific (UOP). The journey has been incredibly fulfilling as I've pursued my degree while successfully managing my responsibilities as a working professional, a devoted mother, and a supportive wife. UOP has provided me with a flexible learning environment that accommodates my hectic schedule, allowing me to balance my studies with my family life. The supportive faculty and engaging curriculum have empowered me not... Read More

The online program at the University of Phoenix is easy to navigate, and there are lots of resources that I use frequently. I can get my schoolwork done with my busy lifestyle and still feel good about things. I would highly recommend the UOPX to others looking to advance their education while still maintaining work and family life.

It is refreshing to have not only quality instructors that go above beyond, but also professional colleagues that are also kind and understanding. University of Phoenix has given me a second chance that is unique and rare. I would recommend it to all busy working professionals that want to further their education in a flexible environment.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my learning experience at the University. I do feel however some of the courses should be offered as specialty course and not a requirement. Class waivers should be easier to navigate and work experience should be taken into great consideration when making decisions to wave course.

This college is terrible. I’ve had problem after problem. The MS-clinical counseling program is absolutely excellent but administration and financial aid are absolutely awful. I’ve had a 4 month long issue on my account that I thought was resolved earlier this month. It is not. Imagine working 2 jobs and being 3/4 done with a masters degree and having to call or contact your college 3+ times per week from NOVEMBER 2024-ongoing to resolve an issue that’s been going on for 4+ months straight. How much... Read More

Beware!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!!! This school is about making money and will rip you off at any opportunity. They are so nice and helpful when helping to get you enrolled and once you are in, that ends! This is why they only have a 35% retention rate. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration and money and go elsewhere!!!!!!!!

It's not worth the money. You don't learn a lot, teachers just pass everyone.

Academic advisors and Instructors so far throughout the program have been very helpful and show an interest in watching their students succeed. Every day provides a new learning experience for students as well as opportunities to demonstrate our knowledge of acquired skill sets.

Attending the University of Phoenix online has made me a determined person to pursue a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This degree will allow me to be a voice for the Mental Health Community. I have a mental illness, and I want to be an advocate for Mental Health. The University of Phoenix online gives me the confidence to pursue education through the comfort of being at home and accessing the classroom at any time of the day. I have social anxiety sometimes which do not allow... Read More

I am currently attending the CCMH online program for Masters in Counseling at University of Phoenix. I can genuinely vouch for the high level of educational and occupational foundation that UOP establishes in their students. The instructors are typically professionals who have worked or are currently working in the field, which makes class all that much practical. You learn the primary functions of what you will be doing throughout your career, all while establishing a large social network which... Read More

Phoenix University has been the most helpful, informative, hand holding educational endeavor for me. An individual enrollment specialist is assigned to each student and works directly and patiently with all your needs. There is a financial advisor assigned to each student to help with the financial part of the educational process. All materials including books are available in the on-line classroom. Each student has a web portal that is expansive and supportive of all student life. The school offers... Read More
