Every time they schedule my class more than 2 weeks out for whatever reason, it acts as if I have withdrawn from school. Then my loans all go into repayment and I have to spend large amounts of time trying to show I'm still in school. Something needs to change so this doesn't happen every time they don't have classes scheduled for me back to back. I'd prefer back to back but if they aren't available, that doesn't mean I am dropping out and it's a ton of work explaining all this to loan servicers... Read More every single time. This college is terrible. I’ve had problem after problem. The MS-clinical counseling program is absolutely excellent but administration and financial aid are absolutely awful. I’ve had a 4 month long issue on my account that I thought was resolved earlier this month. It is not. Imagine working 2 jobs and being 3/4 done with a masters degree and having to call or contact your college 3+ times per week from NOVEMBER 2024-ongoing to resolve an issue that’s been going on for 4+ months straight. How much... Read More time do you think you could devote to your program when the staff still isn’t resolving your issue? Would you feel you were getting your moneys worth? I had to get my state senator, attorney general and congressman involved to work toward resolving my concern and now there’s ANOTHER problem with a technical error on my account. I feel like I should be receiving a w2 from University of Phoenix because I’ve had to work a 3rd job to stay on your staff to make sure my issue was resolved. If I hadn’t, I 💯 would not be able to finish my program on time. It’s awful. I would not recommend this university based solely on administration and financial aid. The clinical counseling program is excellent and faculty are talented and knowledgeable. It’s a shame that the mess of an administration overshadows the learning experience.

I can genuinely vouch for the high level of educational and occupational foundation that UOP establishes in their students. The instructors are typically professionals who have worked or are currently working in the field, which makes class all that much practical. Do expect to write more than you probably have since high school graduation, you will be doing insane amounts of it!

Phoenix University has been the most helpful, informative, hand holding educational endeavor for me. An individual enrollment specialist is assigned to each student and works directly and patiently with all your needs.
