I went to USF Tampa for my undergrad in Early Childhood Education and it was a wonderful experience. We were fully prepared in our cohort to become teachers. Our classes ranged from specific curriculum to the overall study of education. During our undergad, we had four internships as well.
After teaching for a few years, I enrolled in USF's online program for Reading K-12 Education program. My courses were intense and they did not feel like fluff as so many online colleges have become. Please do... Read More
I highly recommend USF for college students-- both undergrad and graduate.

USF was a good school to further my education and prepare me for my future. I also enjoyed numerous jobs on campus that were convenient and helped me build my resume during that time. I did not live on campus, so I did not have as much of a social connection as those who did, which is something I feel I missed out on. It would've been nice if the school had an on campus stadium, but they are now building one which should enhance the community for future students.

USF had a good online program that was exactly what i needed over the pandemic. It allowed me to finish and complete my degree. I liked the majority of my professors and students. The admin department was helpful when i needed them. The cost of tuition was good too even though i still have loans to pay.

This is a good university for students who plan to do something with science in their career. They specialize in biology and nursing and it’s one of the most diverse schools in the country. The scenery of this school is beautiful with several different kinds of trees and animals.

The teachers were available to answer questions. With the exception of one class, the textbooks were easy to follow and informative. This degree is actually from their Morsani College of Medicine which is highly rated. However, just be cautious that if you are a Florida resident you pay out of state fees because the program is managed through Bisk,

The school is fine but there is nothing special about it. They do not do a whole lot for their students and we do not even have working water fountains half of the time. However, the academics are good and I believe it will set me up for a better future.

USF has good tuition with good extracurriculars - the clubs, sponsored conferences, research, and health job opportunities. The education is not as high quality or rigorous as it could be, but it's a still a decent school to go to. The student body is diverse.

USF was a great school for me. I got my BA in Advertising- having the Zimmerman school of advertising was so cool and gave me more practical experiences. Muma College of Bussiness was also good. I got a more unique Masters degree that isn’t offered at most schools.

I found that college is not really worth going to unless you are going for a specific career. I needed to go to college in order to get a good paying desk office job that is accounting related, but I am now finding out that it is not that high paying. I did learn some real-world thing in class, but you relearn everything in the "real world." If I were to restart, I would go into trade school. A lot of information I learned in college, I could learn on YouTube for free.

I enjoyed attending USF as the campus was very large. There were always so many things to do. There was a variety of classes. Many of the instructors were easy to interact with. I never felt unsafe, but I did not live on campus. Commuting was very easy.

I took my masters level courses at USF online while working full time as a nurse. The classes were well instructed, engaging, and worth the price of tuition. Each student was also provided with an assistant who checked in frequently to address any needs.

For a regular Bachelor of the Arts in Studio Arts, the University of South Florida has a wide variety of courses to take from ceramics, video, drawing, sculpture, photography.. you name it. I enjoyed all of my classes at this university. My only gripe is the amount of support from administrative staff I was not given. For the whole Art and Art History student base, there was only one singular guidance counselor. I had to figure out everything on my own. Making an appointment with them was extremely... Read More

USF was a good school that helped to connect me with the business ecosystem in Tampa. The campus was nice with overall good professors. The accounting program specifically is top notch and focused on landing students into careers after graduation. The school was a key reason in my career trajectory today.

The professors at USF really cared and were committed to you understanding the material they were teaching you. There were also plenty of hands/on and practice lab type work that really helped you soak in the knowledge. I would recommend as a co-requisite for the degree to be studying to and getting certifications as you go because it will further help your job search when you've completed your degree or even during the degree if you choose. Lastly, the after graduating career center and help finding... Read More

I am about to leave USF and I highly recommend you do not go here for social work. The online program is incredibly sloppy and poorly designed, and every time we faced errors in the syllabus, our advisors and USF employees gaslit us and blamed the students. This is worse than a community college, save your money!

During orientation much emphasis was placed on the fact that it would only take four years to complete a Bachelor's degree at this university. This is Certainly not the case! It is difficult if not impossible to get into classes for your major as the cases fill up quickly and then are closed. This semester I was only able to get in one class. During academic advisement, I was told to try to get into additional classes during Add Drop week. The classes remained closed even a online class was closed!... Read More

The professors in my actual program were absolutely wonderful. I learned so much and got so much hands on experience and upfront knowledge from so many of my teachers. My mentor was a post-doc under my Marine Ecosystems professor who also acted as a mentor to me and I even got to have my undergraduate research published from their help. It was a very tasking program, buy your own textbooks and read in the tutoring area, thats how I passed engineering. You can do it! Also, go for engineering events and organization events.
