Degree: Physical Therapy

The University of the Incarnate Word's Doctor of Physical Therapy program provides a high-quality, nationally accredited education. However, the program's financial demand is even higher. Receiving this scholarship would be a huge benefit in accumulating the necessary funds to pay for my education over the next three years.

Degree: Physical Therapy

The University of the Incarnate Word: School of Physical Therapy program leaves several more pro's than con's. Apart from the high student to faculty ratio here in San Antonio, the curriculum of Problem Based Learning (PBL) really does make the student learn the body and it's function before progressing to the next level. Pros would be the fact that this program is a problem based learning program. We learn by actually doing the work and applying skills learned. There are not a lot of lectures and power point classes that are boring. Cons would be the fact that the program is young and not well known yet. Hopefully in the future the programs credibility will be high and create ample job offers.
