My experience at PG has been an incredible adventure. I have learned so much and have met some incredible people. I am definitely happy I decided to make this incredible journey at Purdue University Global. I will always remember my experiences here.

Student Review Summary: Reviews of Purdue Global are sharply polarized, but the dominant theme is administrative inconsistency. Many dissatisfied reviewers describe financial aid errors, delayed disbursements, conflicting answers from staff, surprise balances, transcript mishandling, and feeling pressured or misled during enrollment. Several also question transfer-credit decisions, internship or clinical placement support, and the practical value of the credential after graduation. Positive reviewers consistently praise flexible online scheduling for working adults, military members, and parents, along with supportive professors, helpful advisors, responsive tutoring, and challenging coursework. A notable takeaway is that academic satisfaction is often strong even when back-office operations, especially financing and records, are not.

I began my college journey at a different university where I attended school primarily on campus and had to change my work schedule to fit around my school schedule. I found this to be quite difficult with my job. I ended up changing universities for numerous reasons (price and my schedule being the main reasons.) I heard about Ottawa University on the radio and took interest in it. I was able to get my bachelor's degree almost entirely online and if there was a course I had to take on campus, there... St. Andrews University is a very small private University. I enjoyed my time there very much. It is a truly great experience. You benefit a lot from the one one time you get with your professors. You are more than just a number at St. Andrews. The professors care deeply about making sure you get all the help you need!

All in all, I feel as though the experience that I had with the college was a huge waste of time and money. Although it was online, it in no way felt like comunity. They just used to constantly slap us with uninspiring and oftentimes redundant reports.

UMUC was a good experience. Keep up with your post and start projects/papers in advance. For those of you who go into the psychology program, make sure you stick to APA format when writing. I was able to handle to work and take two classes at one time with no problem. Much success!

I have been working hard to earn my Bachelor's degree at Argosy. I see so many bad reviews and I do not understand why. Do people find work after they graduate? That's what I want to know. I heard that your degree is useless.. is that true? Or has anyone found a good job after graduating from here?

I was being pushed by my chain of command to get a degree. We desperately needed officers at the time. I will say I did not do enough research. I had not been in high school in 15 years and was looking for a program to help me consolidate the random credits I had learned from several different community schools. No one told me you have to get at least 60% of credits from your gradating school. No one had ever explained that there is a difference between semesters and quarters. I had no idea there... I am a surprised at the negativity regarding Liberty. One person complained because worksheets did not follow the reading exactly. For others who may find this concerning keep in mind that this is college, not high school, and critical thinking is expected. If you cannot read the material and explain it in your own words while including your own thoughts on the topic, then you need a community college that expects rote learning, not a university. I earned a B. S. in Psychology at Liberty and took... Read More

Winona State University is a hidden gem located within a mile of the Mississippi River in Minnesota. The campus is quaint, requiring minimal travel between buildings (important for cold snowy winters). During my three and half years, I was fortunate to have collaborated with colleagues and professors within my program and others. The small classroom sizes allowed me to make personal connections with my professors and work closely with my cohort. The psychology program in particular offered internships,... Read More

I found the classes challenging, the instructors helpful, and my fellow students engaging. Ashford prepared me to continue on to a State University graduate school, where I became a licensed social worker. I highly recommend Ashford university. .

Before enrolling at CCU I verified that they were an accredited institution. However, after graduating and trying to apply to accelerated BSN programs, I learned that NO ONE accepts transfer credits from nationally accredited schools. I had to retake all of the courses needed for my program, that I paid a lot of money for at CCU, again through a regionally accredited institution. If CCU is your final degree then you might be fine, but if you plan on continuing your education ensure that the school... Read More

I graduated in November 2010 with a B.S. in Psychology. U of Phoenix is a school that forces students to apply and prove their knowledge through research papers.

I have heard too many times how it's a diploma mill and a scam. I do agree that it's very expensive. However, just because it's a "for-profit" university making money, I don't believe it's any different that non-profit Harvard that has millions in endowments.

Anyone who attends U of P must be prepared to work hard and be ready to be self-starting... Read More
