I think Lesley University online courses could be a great way for people who cannot attend on campus to get their degree. I can find all of the information I need right on the platform, and the classes themselves were helpful in my education. My main problem, which is the reason I gave the school a three-star rating, was because their advisory team (at least for the online students) is very poorly managed. Most of the professors and academic advisors seemed uninterested in helping out students. One of my academic advisors contradicted himself many times, and caused me to take a class I didn't need to take. One professor in particular gave vague and confusing feedback on assignments, and when I emailed her for clarification, I never received a response.

I was at Walden University but the college that I would like to receive my Masters at does not accept all of Walden Universities transfers. I made a BIG MISTAKE in choosing APUS. I have sickle cell and unfortunately this is not a school that is very understanding that. Well dealing with their financial... Read More

I studied at a bricks and mortar university for two years prior to attending Cal Coast. First of all, correspondence school is just as hard, if not more so. You need to stay 100% motivated on your own to complete this. Pluses - work at your own pace, learn more then you would at a traditional university, enormous sense of pride in completion, great value for money. No negatives regarding the staff, the wonderful librarian or the quality of the education. If you are truly committed to being self taught... Read More

This college is great if you want to go to college but also need to work to support yourself. I will say that the advisors act as though you are bothering them if you have a question or need assistance. The online format is easy to understand and they use blackboard, once you get the hang of this the program is easy to work around life.

The professors are always readily available to answers questions, by phone and email. The... Read More

The classes are tough but if you schedule time to do them, and put aside distractions to keep focus on your specific school time everything will be just fine. I know for me in the beginning, and end things were tough, but with much persistence and help from the staff at the school I made it through with flying colors.
