I started as a pre-vet student, moved more towards research, then ultimately did a 180 and decided to go into education. That has nothing to do with the quality of my education, however. Read More I took most of my classes on west campus, which is probably a fair bit less diverse than the rest of OSU. Overall I would highly recommend OSU to anyone interested in pursuing work with companion or livestock animals. Just make sure to expose yourself to main campus.

Coming from out of state, learning to become a Buckeye was the hardest, yet easiest thing to do. Packing up and moving eight hours from where I called home was no small task.
