Ohio State is a school that offers many opportunities for students to succeed in life. Not only does the school have excellent facilities, extracurricular activities, and academics, but it also provides students with a large alumni network to help them transition to life after college.

I had an amazing time at Ohio State- I think attending an enormous university allowed me to develop social and leadership skills that I wouldn't have been able to build in a smaller program. More importantly, Ohio State's in-state tuition, along with many generous scholarships funded by donors, allowed me to patch together a series of 14 scholarships that funded my undergraduate education. I wouldn't have been able to attend college without these scholarships, and am thankful to this day for all... Read More

The Ohio State University is a special place to study. It has one of the biggest student bodies in the United States. When you see buckeyes around the country and even in the world, it makes you feel proud of your school. On the other hand, political science is an interesting major, by which you learn about how the countries with different political and cultural systems are governed. It helps you understand the way politics and economics work currently in the world.

I loved Ohio State- it is extremely large. It's a city within a city. It can be a bit daunting at first, but the opportunities are limitless if you just plug yourself in. I also held several jobs during college, and OSU is great for that. you'll have so much fun!

Great education! The advisors and professors are top notch. There are plenty of opportunities, offering everything from state of the art facilities, internships/fellowships like no other, and great chances to network with alumni from all over. The athletics and social scenes are amazing as well.

I truly enjoyed the Political Science Program at Ohio State. Being in the Ohio's Capital and having the ability to be at the heart of the city, county, state and national races were beneficial since my emphasis was in campaign politics. The campaign politics class required to work on a campaign throughout the quarter and have the opportunity to get a hands-on approach to the campaign. I also enjoyed the courses that walked you through each step of the campaign and learning what the processes were... Read More

Both the political science and philosophy departments have professors being published at the top of their fields which is great for having access to the latest most competent information. In the political science department I experienced what I consider to be innovative coursework for the Bachelors level. Courses included a simulated political game over one quarter. A full course on identity politics. And plenty of references in various courses to competing theories. In the philosophy department,... Read More
