Review Date: 2/21/2017 Would Recommend: Yes Helpful for Career: Yes I have read all of the reviews concerning this university and they are very accurate. If you are on the fence about attending this university because it is nationally accredited vs regionally, don't be (depending on profession). Most employers only care that the college is accredited. The only problem with nationally accredited universities is that their credits do not transfer as well as regionally accredited ones. I didn't have a problem with this because I knew I was finishing with CSU. Overall... I did lots of research on where to go after I received my AA. This was my third attempt at college, not because I was lazy or stupid, but because life happened. I had promotions at work making it impossible to continue my studies, I got married and had kids, and struggled to try to finish an AA. I always felt odd about being at school, because I had so much life and... I was able to transfer every credit that I had received during my two years at a brick and mortar university. I love the ability to test out of classes as well. It has been great to work at my own pace. I am always able to get an immediate answer when I call the university with any questions. While the school is not regionally accredited, it does hold national accredidiaton. In this day and age, just the fact that the school holds national... Overall, an awesome choice for working adults! Review Date: 2/18/2013 Would Recommend: Yes Helpful for Career: Yes I loved my time at Baruch. Professors were mostly knowledgeable and had a passion/ expertise in what they were teaching about. The only downside I have isn't really about the school itself, I had a hard time making friends since it was a commuter school. Review Date: 12/5/2025 Would Recommend: Yes Helpful for Career: Yes I began my journey with Minot State University with the highest of hopes. I was actually a transfer student from a different 4 year university who had moved out of state for other reasons. The professors that I met were passionate about their respective subject matters and the coursework seemed roughly equivalent. The thing I found lacking at MSU centered on the quality of the advising I received. In my senior year I was debating whether I wanted to graduate (I had technically earned enough credits... The professors are very dedicated to helping you and answering questions. You get their phone number to call if you can't reach them by email. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. The school makes it really easy to submit your documents...I applied using my cell phone and google drive because I was very determine to return to school. Sometimes you end up with some of the same professors for... Read More Review Date: 4/20/2016 Would Recommend: Yes Helpful for Career: No |
