It was a great experience. The teachers were good and helpful and hands on. They answered questions and helped you learn.

Student Review Summary: Reviews of Columbia College are broadly positive, driven by strong ratings and frequent recommendations, but they reveal clear fault lines. Supporters praise responsive advisers, caring professors, small classes, flexible online and in-seat options, and accelerated eight-week terms that help working adults, military learners, and people with changing schedules finish efficiently. Many also cite affordability, transfer credit acceptance, and tangible career gains such as promotions, graduate school admission, and salary growth. Critics focus on disorganized administration, weak financial aid handling, inconsistent instructor quality, outdated materials, and online formats that can feel like self-teaching. Several also say the compressed pace hurts retention and work-life balance.

Student Review Summary: Reviews portray Avila University as a small, relationship-driven campus where accessible professors, close advising, and flexible formats often help students build confidence, finish quickly, and move into careers soon after graduation. Many praise one-on-one attention, caring instructors, practical teaching, and strong preparation through internships, discussion-based classes, and real-world expectations rather than a party atmosphere. Working adults also value evening scheduling and supportive faculty availability outside class. The most consistent drawbacks are high tuition, limited scholarships, and uneven affordability. A few reviews raise sharper concerns about inflexible faculty, thin course availability, limited diversity, and isolated cases of poor program leadership.

I enjoyed my undergraduate career at IUS. The class sizes were small, which is what I needed, being a non-traditional student that had taken seven years off between high school and University. My academic adviser was amazing and always had time to spend with me if I had questions or concerns. The campus is beautiful and the parking is cheap (compared to other colleges) and convenient.

I enrolled at SNHU because I'd heard so many things so I was very disappointed within the first year of my taking classes there. Kent State was a very interesting experience. I am from a town about 40 minutes away, and was a good student. I wasn't necessarily sure if I wanted to go to college, but had generous scholarships so I decided to go there.

I was in greek life and in some clubs, including a religious club. It is a big enough school where you can really "find your crowd", which was a little overwhelming for someone who went to a small district with largely the same people for my whole life.

Covid hit in 2020, and everything changed. Virtual classes were obviously not as engaging, but the professors tried their best, and I can tell they cared about getting us the best education possible. I stayed an extra year to do a work study program, which was genuinely the best decision I made. I made a lot of great friends, had a great experience, and was more well prepared for the workforce.

Overall, Kent was a average-ish college experience, with Covid really clouding a lot of that. I wish I picked a more demanding major and picked up some other opportunities, but it is genuinely a good school to go to and gives out a lot of financial aid. Trust me, you do not want to be bogged down in student loans like a lot of other people I know!!

When I first became a student at Flagler in 2018, I was completely enamored with the school. The historic buildings are gorgeous, the location in St. Augustine is great because it's a beautiful small town with lots to do, and I really enjoyed the small class sizes. Furthermore, the administration at Flagler is honestly a joke. They did not act in the best interests of students during my time there, and the difference in views between the administration and the student body was stark (many of the students were progressive, but the admin was very, very conservative). This led to many incidents where admin would directly ignore students about important issues (example: refusing to expel a student who had harassed several female students) or act in direct opposition to what most of the student body wanted.

Not everything was bad. There were many professors who were great at their job and whom I loved, and I met some great people at Flagler, but overall, there are better schools out there that better prepare students to enter their chosen fields and have more to offer for a better price. If I could go back, I would probably attend somewhere else.
